Who knew that a random night of karaoke for me and shooting pool for him, would lead us to one another. The first thing Darnell said to me was, "I'm going to marry you one day." From day one, we knew that God made us for each other.

It was a random night out with friends and family singing karaoke.. or so I thought. I sat there in shock as Darnell began to sing, "This is why I love you," by Major Johnson Finley. Before the end of the song he got on one knee and pulled out the most beautiful emerald ring. He always makes things so special and I love that he proposed while doing karaoke, as that is the same thing I was doing the night we met.
